salle Albert-Rousseau - Québec 50$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

This new show features her greatest hits, several songs from her latest album Je continuerai, and a selection of covers she performs with visible delight, paying tribute to Quebec icons Marjo and Nanette. Marie-Chantal Toupin stands as one of the most significant female rockers in Quebec’s history; thousands have danced to her music and seen themselves reflected in her lyrics. On stage, this fiery performer has let her passion explode over 1,000 times, fueled by the same boundless energy she possesses today. Hits like Comment je pourrais te l’dire, Maudit bordel, and Soirée de filles have earned a permanent place in the province’s collective memory. In fact, she has sold over 500,000 albums, and these three tracks are recognized as SOCAN classics, each totaling over 25,000 broadcasts. Between 2001 and 2013, Marie-Chantal Toupin received 13 Félix Award nominations, with Non négociable winning Rock Album of the Year in 2004. For all these reasons, we have reunited the same musicians and technicians from the Breen LeBoeuf tour for this new series of shows, under the musical direction of Pierre Beauregard and featuring Réjean Lachance (Johnny Hallyday, Roch Voisine) on guitar.
