The OSM welcomes the Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de Montréal at the Maison Symphonique

The Grand Orgue Pierre-Béique joins forces for the first time with the OSJM, a promising youth orchestra directed by Louis Lavigueur. Organ and orchestra will dialogue with solemnity and magnificence in a program full of color and surprises. You’ll rediscover Vierne’s Symphony for Organ No. 2, presented in an arrangement by Montreal composer Vincent Hamel, as well as Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor in a surprising transcription by Stokowski.

Le Grand Orgue Pierre-Béique se joint pour la première fois avec l’OSJM, un orchestre de jeunes au talent prometteur dirigé par Louis Lavigueur. L’Orgue et l’Orchestre dialogueront avec solennité et magnificence dans un programme haut en couleur et en surprises. Vous allez redécouvrir la Symphonie pour orgue n^o 2 de Vierne, présentée dans un arrangement du compositeur montréalais Vincent Hamel, ainsi que la célèbre Toccata et fugue en ré mineur de Bach dans une surprenante transcription de Stokowski.
