Le retour de Kent Nagano avec Mozart et Schubert

Kent Nagano sera de retour à l’OSM avec un répertoire qu’il affectionne particulièrement : la Troisième Symphonie de Schubert, datant de 1815 et pleine d’un élan rythmique caractéristique des symphonies de jeunesse du compositeur viennois. Celle-ci côtoiera la Symphonie « Jupiter » de Mozart, considérée comme son œuvre instrumentale la plus accomplie, ainsi que le motet pour soprano et orchestre Exsultate, jubilate.

Kent Nagano returns to the OSM to conduct repertoire that is particularly close to his heart: Schubert’s Third Symphony dated 1815, whose rhythmic momentum is a feature of this Viennese composer’s youthful works. The “Jupiter” Symphony, considered as Mozart’s most accomplished instrumental work, along with his motet for soprano and orchestra, Exsultate, jubilate, will also be heard.
