Le Quatuor Molinari présente Les fables de la Fontaine à l’Église Jean XXIII

Ce théâtre musical familial est une présentation du Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée et du Quatuor Molinari en collaboration avec Mme Catherine Perrin, au clavecin et à la narration. Onze fables seront récitées par Catherine Perrin et illustrées par une musique de Denis Gougeon pour clavecin et quatuor à cordes, et par celle de Jean-Philippe Rameau pour clavecin. La première partie fera entendre Molinari dans le Quatuor op. 11 de Samuel Barber (avec son célèbre Adagio), suivi des Fables en seconde partie.

This family musical theater is presented by the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée and the Molinari Quartet in collaboration with Catherine Perrin, harpsichord and narration. Eleven fables will be recited by Catherine Perrin and illustrated by music by Denis Gougeon for harpsichord and string quartet, and by Jean-Philippe Rameau for harpsichord. The first part will feature Molinari in Samuel Barber’s Quartet op. 11 (with its famous Adagio), followed by the Fables in the second part.
