23:20 – l i l a

Montreal, M for Montreal, and as opening act for one of the biggest names in folk, Novo Amor, at MTelus (Montreal) and the History (Toronto).

00:40 – Bye Parula

Bye Parula is the meeting of a Neapolitan, a Chilean, and a Catalan in the heart of Montreal’s vibrant music scene. Influenced by 1960s–70s film scores as well as modern indie, their progressive pop shifts between raw minimalism and polished orchestration. On stage, five voices, guitars, bass, keyboards, and drums come together to deliver carefully crafted arrangements and rich vocal harmonies.
Bye Parula is the kind of trio that feels like it emerged from an old VCR, somewhere between a dusty 1970s film reel and a contemporary indie pop dream.
