Emma Beko

Emma Beko is an unclassifiable artist who blends melancholic songwriting with nostalgic and emotionally evocative soundscapes. Born in Budapest to a Peruvian father and a Canadian-Hungarian mother, she grew up in Montreal and developed her musical path in New York at the end of her adolescence, immersing herself in the city’s rap culture. Later, as part of the Montreal duo Heartstreets, she helped pave the way for women in Canadian hip-hop.
As a solo artist, Emma’s music has received widespread critical acclaim through projects such as BLUE, Digital Damage, and Superficial Stains, each showcasing her fearless exploration of deeply personal and existential themes. These works have solidified her reputation as a unique voice in contemporary music, both intimate and universal.
Her upcoming album, Cicada, draws on lo-fi acoustic folk and cinematic, ambient soundscapes. It will feature artists such as Nailah Hunter, CFCF, and Sophia Bel, and is slated for release in spring 2026.

Malaimé Soleil is a warm, enveloping force that moves through crowds and lingers in the heart. Their songs hit with precision, carried by choruses that stick effortlessly and beg to be sung at the top of your lungs in packed rooms. Malaimé is an invitation to come together, to feel and vibrate collectively, in both joy and sorrow.
