Allô Fantôme is the new project from singer-songwriter Samuel Gendron. Inspired by 70s extravagance, his music is rife with ample and rich arrangements, harmonically-refined progressions and boisterous energy, all of which is served with a thick coat of wacky, theatrical and maximalist rock ‘n’ roll.

le.mira, consisting of Dave Gagnon and Alexis Lamontagne, present a first creation that immerses us in a universe oscillating between performance and installation. On a unique device combining projections and funeral floral assortments, the duo offer L84MF; an audiovisual work revolving around themes associated with change, grief and resilience.

Wielding his trustee guitar, Matiu presents a folk concert with a touch of blues, where French and Innu lyrics intertwine. The singer-songwriter shares his past and that of his community through lyrics tackling daily routine, relationships as well as the native people’s ongoing quest for identity.

Bria – Diable Rond – 18h

Bria is an intimate and incisive labor of love from multi-instrumentalists Bria Salmena and Duncan Hay Jennings, both permanent members of Orville Peck’s band.

As an album, Pas l’temps d’niaiser stays true to Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, although it steers away from redundancy and explores a new narrative, resulting in a softer and more melodic record. This work sets itself apart from its predecessors by experimenting heavily with vocal harmonies, while also finding space for instrumental tracks. The fantastic Moncton bunch share along the shore of Osisko Lake the anthems of their new opus.

CRi quickly made his mark on the Montreal electronic scene by offering a singular sound influenced by house synthesizers, syncopated snares, and futuristic basslines.

Put together neatly alongside producer Blaise Borboën-Léonard, Depuis is a reflection of Lydia Képinski uncompromising universe. Though it remains somewhat linked to previous eras, it more so represents this new generation. Success is at the door for this uniquely dichotomous voice, one that is as fragile as it is affirmed.

Announcing a shift towards a greater pop influence, while still remaining as ambitious and inventive, Les Louanges presented his sophomore album, Crash, on January 21st, 2022 via Bonsound. This new effort represents the aftermath of the impact, the dizzying yet revealing imbalance experienced by its author following the frenzy of the last three years.

Growlers Choir – 23h

We are Growlers Choir, the world’s first-ever and only choir featuring metal singers! Founded in 2018, Growlers Choir is a Montreal vocal ensemble composed of 13 roaring demons and offering an astounding sonic experience that touches upon metal, electronica and experimental music.

Gros Mené is Fred Fortin’s groovy, fuzzy and bold artistic vehicle. Using tones, big riffs and aptly-twisted blues forms, the artist came back in April 2022 with Pax Et Bonum, a third album which could be described as: a vast and immersive trip into the mud; an occult, rogue and delirious celebration. Accompanied by his acolytes, Pierre Fortin and Olivier Langevin, the Lac-St-Jean living legend takes on Cabaret de la Dernière Chance, promising a hefty dose of grunge and verve.
