La Nuit blanche dans la Satosphère

Sat 25 Feb 2023 • 07:00 pm Ambient / Experimental Techno
Satosphère - Montréal Gratuit
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Nuit Blanche, the Society for Arts and Technology opens the doors of its Satosphere to let Montrealers experience the interactive installation ENN by artist Maria Takeuchi.

In addition, the FoodLab has created a tapas menu for the occasion to satisfy the cravings. An unforgettable evening in perspective!

ENN — Maria Takeuchi

Interactive installation in the Satosphere

ENN means circle, ENN means ties, and a profound connection among human beings and matter.

The concept of the project is to represent an existentialist philosophy in the microcosm of the dome while adding an interactive component with the audience.

The installation allows the public to freely explore the potential of interaction, thus taking part in a co-narrative experience. Like individuals, the particles evolve and transform, showing that we are all connected.

The experience repeats in a cycle, symbolizing the rebirth of existence.

Maria Takeuchi aka ÉMU is an audio+visual artist from a small town in Japan, based in Brooklyn. Maria creates sonic and visual poems, merging organismic soundscapes with generative art and illuminating objects inspired by nature. “as·phyx·i·a”, one of her collaborative projects used Kinect v2 sensors to capture choreographed movement into the digital world.
