La série Jazz@Vue est présentée par le Théâtre Outremont en collaboration avec Effendi, l’une des étiquettes jazz les plus importantes au Canada, les Productions Yves Léveillé et les Productions Félix Stüssi, organismes voués à la production et la présentation de concerts de jazz contemporain. Emie R Roussel Trio
Le Emie R Roussel Trio s’impose comme un incontournable de la scène jazz canadienne. Comptant à son actif cinq albums salués par le public et la critique tant nationale qu’internationale depuis sa fondation en 2010, le trio québécois a également eu la chance de rayonner à maintes reprises sur la scène internationale, présentant sa musique dans 12 pays, sur quatre continents. Après 15 ans de complicité, le Emie R Roussel Trio dévoile son sixième album et nouveau concert : TERR. Fruit d’une réflexion musicale profonde, sans compromis ni contraintes stylistiques. Entre instruments acoustiques et textures électriques, le trio navigue entre dynamisme entraînant et introspection intimiste.
Yves Léveillé invite Daniel Mille
Au printemps 2022, le pianiste et compositeur a invité l’accordéoniste français Daniel Mille à jouer à Montréal dans le cadre de sa série « Bourdonnements Jazz » présentée au petit Outremont. Une complicité musicale s’est installée naturellement entre les deux artistes par leur créativité réciproque et complémentaire. Lorsque s’ajoute à cela la participation de musiciens d’exception en la présence de Frank Lozano (saxophone), Guy Boisvert (contrebasse) et Pierre Tanguay (batterie), nous obtenons un ensemble totalement au diapason!

Emie R Roussel Trio
The Emie R Roussel Trio is a must-see on the Canadian jazz scene. With five albums to its credit, acclaimed by the public and both national and international critics since its foundation in 2010, the Quebec trio has also had the chance to shine on the international scene many times, presenting its music in 12 countries on four continents. After 15 years of complicity, the Emie R Roussel Trio unveils its sixth album and new concert: TERR. The result of a deep musical reflection, without compromise or stylistic constraints. Between acoustic instruments and electric textures, the trio navigates between dynamic driving and introspection.
Yves Léveillé invites Daniel Mille
In the spring of 2022, the pianist and composer invited the French accordionist Daniel Mille to play in Montreal as part of his “Bourdonnements Jazz” series presented at the Petit Outremont. A musical complicity naturally took place between the two artists through their mutual and complementary creativity. When added to this the participation of exceptional musicians in the presence of Frank Lozano (saxophone), Guy Boisvert (double bass) and Pierre Tanguay (drums), we get an ensemble totally in tune!
