Disco Fever Expérience pays tribute to Montreal’s Lime Light nightclub… don’t miss it! The most popular nightclub in Montreal and all of Quebec was founded by Yvon Lafrance on September 7, 1973. Claude Chalifoux became his co-owner in February 1977. The sound systems, dazzling light effects, and of course the music selection, combined with numerous international performances — including James Brown, Gloria Gaynor, The Trammps, Grace Jones, The Ritchie Family, Vince Montana (MFSB), Lime, Carol Jiani, and France Joli — made Lime Light an iconic nightclub in Montreal and Quebec, helping to establish the disco scene in North America. The late Robert Ouimet, Canada’s #1 DJ, was its resident DJ from 1975 to 1982.
