Commencer tranquille, finir en sueur. Un spectacle continu pour traverser une gamme d’états d’âme et de corps : c’est d’abord calme et envoûtant, ça augmente, de ballades country-folk à brûlots pop-rock, ça n’arrête jamais de s’élever, ça exalte puis ça se termine à terre, en sueur, avec l’ampli au boute et ça se conclut vraiment au bar.
Un spectacle de Gab Bouchard, c’est une douceur qui se traduit en fougue, un accès intime du brut, une mise en costume de dérape, un souffle qui te règle une peine d’amour. Coupe bol bleachée, moustache et guitare devant, il est appuyé en live par un quatuor de musiciens aguerris (Marie-Claudel Chénard, Victor Tremblay-Desrosiers, Pierre-Olivier Gagnon, Mathieu Quenneville). Ça commence tranquille, ça finit en sueur.

A continuous show that takes you through a whole range of moods and states: it begins calm and mesmerizing, builds up from country-folk ballads to fiery pop-rock anthems, never stops climbing, then bursts out, and finally collapses to the floor, drenched in sweat, amps cranked to the max, before wrapping up at the bar.
A Gab Bouchard show is tenderness turned into fire, raw intimacy laid bare, chaos dressed up, a breath that soothes a broken heart. Bleached bowl cut, mustache, guitar in hand, he’s backed on stage by a tight quartet of seasoned musicians (Marie-Claudel Chénard, Victor Tremblay-Desrosiers, Pierre-Olivier Gagnon, Mathieu Quenneville).
