HAWA B explore de nouvelles voies musicales en mélangeant soul, jazz et rock alternatif, ses principales inspirations. Ses EPs “Sad in a Good Way” (2022) et “Sadder but Better” (avril 2024) expriment une palette émotionnelle large avec des paroles directes et profondes. Elle remet en question les attentes imposées aux femmes et aux artistes de couleur en revisitant des styles musicaux alternatifs. Sur scène, sa voix envoûtante rappelle les chants de sirènes et ses performances, qu’elle présente en duo ou en sextet, sont toujours uniques et fascinantes. “Sadder but Better”, réalisé avec Félix Petit chez Duprince, marque une étape importante dans sa carrière.
HAWA B explores new musical avenues by mixing soul, jazz and alternative rock, her main inspirations. Her EPs “Sad in a Good Way” (2022) and “Sadder but Better” (April 2024) express a broad emotional palette with direct and profound lyrics. She challenges the expectations placed on women and artists of color by revisiting alternative musical styles. On stage, her haunting voice recalls the songs of sirens, and her performances, which she presents as a duo or sextet, are always unique and fascinating. “Sadder but Better”, produced with Félix Petit at Duprince, marks a milestone in her career.
Orchestra Gold (20H)
Le son vibrant d’Orchestra Gold est mené par Mariam Diakite, dont la voix brute et hypnotique délivre des paroles émouvantes et réfléchies en bambara. Tout en rendant hommage aux traditions musicales maliennes, ce nouveau son se distingue par des rythmes puissants, une section de cuivres funky et des riffs de guitare cosmiques. Avec la sortie de leur troisième album Medicine, ce groupe spirituel et dansant continue de répandre la guérison et la communauté à travers la musique. En 2023, OG a fait une percée avec des festivals comme Newport Folk Festival et Pickathon, et une tournée en Europe. Leur album Dakan est prévu pour 2024.
Orchestra Gold’s vibrant sound is led by Mariam Diakite, whose raw, hypnotic voice delivers moving, thoughtful lyrics in Bambara. While paying homage to Malian musical traditions, this new sound features powerful rhythms, a funky horn section and cosmic guitar riffs. With the release of their third album Medicine, this spiritual and danceable group continues to spread healing and community through music. In 2023, OG broke through with festivals like Newport Folk Festival and Pickathon, and a tour of Europe. Their album Dakan is scheduled for release in 2024.

BODEGA, commentateurs culturels punk, réinventent leur parcours avec leur nouvel album « Our Brand Could Be Yr Life ». Initialement conçu il y a huit ans sous le nom de BODEGA BAY, ce groupe indie-rock explore l’influence rampante du corporatisme sur la jeunesse.
