l, Apokalypse (20h)

Formé en 2017 I, Apokalypse a eu pour but de créer du blackened death metal . Aussi la même année ils ont ouvert pour Belphegor qui se produisait à Rouyn-Noranda. Depuis la formation a sorti son premier album en 2019 sous le nom de Destroyer of Worlds qui comporte 9 titres. Quelques Représentation ont été faites à Montréal et dernièrement au Gaspesian Metal Fest à Matane le 7 juin 2024 .

Formed in 2017 I, Apokalypse aimed to create blackened death metal . Also the same year they opened for Belphegor performing in Rouyn-Noranda. Since then, the band has released its first album in 2019 under the name Destroyer of Worlds, featuring 9 tracks. They have played a few shows in Montreal, most recently at the Gaspesian Metal Fest in Matane on June 7, 2024.

Fracturus (21h)

Fracturus a été formé en 2019 à Montréal. Offrant un style Death metal technique à saveur deathcore, le groupe a commencé à attirer l’attention avec la sortie de «L’appel du vide» en novembre 2021. Mais c’est en Mars 2023 avec la sortie de leur album «Versus the Void» que le groupe s’établit comme une force redoutable, autant sur album que sur scene. Toujours indépendant après 3 vidéoclips et 2 tournées européennes, Fracturus travaille sur leur prochain album qui paraîtra en 2025.

Fracturus was formed in 2019 in Montreal. Offering a technical death metal style with a deathcore flavor, the band began to attract attention with the release of “L’appel du vide” in November 2021. But it was in March 2023 with the release of their album “Versus the Void” that the band established itself as a formidable force, both on album and on stage. Still independent after 3 music videos and 2 European tours, Fracturus are working on their next album, due out in 2025.

Martyr (22h)

Formé en 1989, Martyr a entamé son périple musical avec la sortie de leur premier album, “Hopeless Hopes”, lequel a été acclamé par “Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles” comme le meilleur album indépendant de ’98. Peu après, ils ont partagé la scène avec Meshuggah, Death et Napalm Death au Milwaukee Metalfest XII. Leur deuxième album “Warp Zone” (2000) les a propulsés vers la reconnaissance. Martyr lança leur troisième opus, “Feeding the Abscess” (2006), un méticuleux testament à l’agressivité et la complexité. La musique de Martyr explore la complexité humaine, offrant une catharsis à travers l’adversité. Toutefois, l’essence de l’art de Martyr ne se découvre pas par des explications mais par l’expérience – s’immerger dans leur musique et la laisser résonner dans son âme.

Formed in 1989, Martyr began their musical journey with the release of their debut album, “Hopeless Hopes”, which was hailed by “Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles” as the best independent album of ’98. Shortly afterwards, they shared the stage with Meshuggah, Death and Napalm Death at Milwaukee Metalfest XII. Their second album “Warp Zone” (2000) propelled them to recognition. Martyr launched their third opus, “Feeding the Abscess” (2006), a meticulous testament to aggression and complexity. Martyr’s music explores human complexity, offering catharsis through adversity. However, the essence of Martyr’s art is not discovered through explanation, but through experience – immersing yourself in their music and letting it resonate in your soul.
