Festival Orientalys : Groupe La Perse au Quai de l’Horloge

Fri 14 Aug 2026 • 07:15 pm classique persan / Middle Eastern
Quai de l’Horloge - Montréal Gratuit
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

Some music travels. La Perse’s music comes back. Dotâr, santour, daf, tombak, piano, guitar: the La Perse ensemble brings together instruments separated by centuries and reconciled through music. Under the artistic direction of Lida SedaghatKish, Hamid Jahan, and Saman Nasrollahi, the group fuses classical Persian poetry with Western harmonies in a repertoire where every piece is a crossing. From epic tableaux celebrating Iranian resilience to the mystical rapture of Sufi poetry, by way of contemporary reinterpretations of great Persian classics, the ensemble weaves a thread stretched between Tehran and Montreal, between the ancient and the now.
Onstage, this isn’t a display of virtuosity. It’s an invitation into a sonic world where Iranian tradition belongs not only to those born into it but to anyone willing to listen.

CE SPECTACLE EST GRATUIT!
