Pour cette création du 25ème FMA, chants soufis, Cantique des cantiques, psaumes et grands poèmes du sacré se croisent aux frontières ultimes du céleste. Serviteurs du divin, la chanteuse Dorsaf Hamdani et le chœur Deus Ex Machina unissent leur voix d’un souffle mélodieux pour transcender, par l’ivresse et l’extase, les fractures d’un monde toujours en proie aux perditions terrestres. Dans la lignée des grandes créations du FMA autour du sacré, ce concert entame un nouveau chapitre d’explorations où chaque tradition de musique sacrée accepte de renoncer à un brin de sa souveraineté pour mieux s’offrir à l’autre.
In this show created specially for the FMA’s 25th anniversary, Sufi songs, the Song of Solomon, psalms and sacred poetry come together at a celestial crossroads. Dorsaf Hamdani and the Deus Ex Machina choir join forces to put their voices in service to the divine, in an intoxicating and ecstatic performance that seeks to heal a world in the throes of earthly perdition. Following in the footsteps of the FMA’s great sacred music concerts, this event begins a new chapter of exploration, a loosening of traditions that embraces a spirit of openness to the Other.
