Festival de Lanaudière: Mozart est une fête!

Longue de décennies, la relation qui lie les Violons du Roy et Lanaudière se poursuit cette année, alors que le premier de leurs deux concerts est consacré au divin Wolfgang : sa « petite musique de nuit », spirituelle et enjouée, l’élégance brillante de son dernier concerto pour violon, œuvre de jeunesse expertement défendue par le violoniste Kerson Leong, puis son avant-dernière symphonie, chef-d’œuvre qui cimente les retrouvailles du Festival avec Bernard Labadie. Une fête signée Mozart !

The decades-long relationship between Les Violons du Roy and Lanaudière continues this year, as the first of their two concerts is devoted to the divine Wolfgang: his witty, playful “little night music”, the brilliant elegance of his last violin concerto, a youthful work expertly defended by violinist Kerson Leong, and then his penultimate symphony, a masterpiece that cements the Festival’s reunion with Bernard Labadie. A Mozart celebration!
