Après avoir triomphé sur nos planches avec Aida et Tristan et Isolde, Yannick Nézet-Séguin nous propose cet été un autre grandiose opéra de Verdi, entre amour tragique, intrigue politique et atmosphère sombre et fantastique. Entouré de l’Orchestre Métropolitain et d’une distribution vocale exceptionnelle, il met un terme à la 49e édition du Festival, quelques semaines avant d’inaugurer une nouvelle production de Macbeth au Metropolitan Opera.
After having triumphed on our stage with Aida and Tristan und Isolde, Yannick Nézet-Séguin presents another magnificent Verdi opera this summer, a tale of tragic love, political intrigue, and a dark, fantastical atmosphere. Accompanied by the Orchestre Métropolitain and an exceptional vocal cast, he brings the 49th Festival to a close, just weeks before inaugurating a new production of Macbeth at the Metropolitan Opera.
