· by Rédaction PAN M 360

For the first party in the dome of 2023, it’s the rave collective RE:UNION that takes control of the Satosphere.

RE:UNION is an intimate musical event series, founded in Montreal in 2016 by Adam Solomon a.k.a. Weekend Logic, Daura and Moaad BKR. The musical philosophy of RE:UNION is to place a strong focus on the exact moment in space in which the energy is transferred to the receiver, and to ruthlessly dismiss all other pressures. In doing so, they are fostering a grassroots and diverse approach to endless inspiration and community bonding. Highly dedicated (but not exclusive) to electronic dance music, vinyl mixing as well as an archaeological yet futuristic approach to musical research, the selection at a RE:UNION gathering may consist of anything from newly released vinyl cuts to obscure vintage wax, forgotten anthems, ravey bootlegs, discoveries from old internet archives, but also modern digital only productions. Some of these digital findings are often cut to dubplates for DJ use only, completing the final and most crucial step of this multi-layered curation process.
