Sincerity and theatrical flights of fancy fuel the project of Loïc Lafrance, whose music conveys as much his love of the arts as his background in sociology. After a number of high-profile appearances at competitions and festivals, Loïc Lafrance expresses his casualness with an accessible grunge-rock sound, which can be heard on his second album, La peur est une fleur, released on September 13 and produced by Julien Mineau of Malajube. To conquer your fears, flowers or other things.

Aspiring rock star Justine Grivegnée’s project is an outlet for her turbulent, sensitive world of Quebec indie pop rock. Last year, the young singer-songwriter released her first EP, La saison des pluies. This autumn, she is releasing a single, Celle que je veux. Accompanied by her best friends on stage, she concocts a show that will make us dance, cry and transport us into her singular universe.
