Émilie Laforest, singer-songwriter, stage director, programmer, trainer and chorister, has been exploring the world of creation ever since her university training in classical singing, and is also known for her participation in the FORÊT musical project. She continues to do so with Mea silva – Latin for “ my forest” – her first solo album, released last February. An intense, spellbinding opus whose universe oscillates between new wave and contemporary music, like a sonic and poetic tableau tinged with light and chiaroscuro. To be explored without moderation.

In 2022, as part of Coup de cœur francophone, the singer-songwriter presented the launch show for Puisque les heures nous manquent, a pop-rock-flavored debut album. In 2024, accompanied by Le Forestuor, an orchestra fusing different musical horizons with jazz and classical, she returns with a very special creation in which she revisits her repertoire while offering new pieces. A unique moment shared with several guest artists, including Kanen and Héron.
