Andrea Prochazka

Andrea Prochazka is back with Hôtel Anonyme, her second solo mini-album, on which she creates a dreamlike, murky atmosphere through dense baroque pop, elegantly enhanced by Philippe Cengarle Samak’s electronic rhythms and arrangements and the roaring layers of effects from clarinetist Elyze Venne-Deshaies. On this new collection, Prochazka explores the alienation of the individual in the face of the normativity of the masses, while offering a few paths to escape through introspection and a connection to the sacred in existence—that is, as a balm in the face of all-encompassing adversity, a light to be drawn from within oneself.

After years of treating us to singles and EPs, Anaïs Constantin is finally releasing L’amour pis les steamés, her debut album—and to celebrate, she’s transforming Verre Bouteille into a camping party atmosphere! Driven by observational poetry steeped in self-deprecation and tenderness, L’amour pis les steamés offers an emotional refuge and fosters pride for queer communities and everyone else who rejects dominant norms. Driven by a passionate desire to bring people together, Anaïs will take the stage, accompanied by Fred Levac (bass and acoustic guitar), Judith Little-Daudelin (synth and backing vocals), and Marie-Anne Tessier (drums).
