Le remarquable saxophoniste Charles McPherson est considéré comme l’un des principaux disciples du grand Charlie Parker et a été un proche collaborateur de Charlie Mingus. Ce concert fait écho à la fascination et au respect qu’avait le peintre Jean-Michel Basquiat pour le bebop. 

Distinguished saxophonist Charles McPherson is considered as one of the main disciples of the great Charlie Parker and was a close collaborator of Charlie Mingus. A special opportunity to hear him live in this concert echoing the fascination and respect that the painter Jean-Michel Basquiat had for bebop.
