AKOH est un projet de Julia E. Dyck et Amanda Harvey. Collaboratrices de longue date, elles ont co-créé des œuvres comprenant des productions radiophoniques, des performances audiovisuelles, des installations, des interventions, des ateliers et des événements. Bien que l’étendue de leur travail soit vaste, le point central reste l’exploration des pouvoirs de transformation du son.
Les 45 premières minutes de l’expérience sont dédiées à un entretien avec l’invité·e, suivi de 15 minutes d’écoute d’une création sonore réalisée par celleux-ci.
A Kind of Harmony examines sound in the context of its social, political and environmental implications. This series of immersive conversations explores the ways in which sound and listening can shape and inform our everyday interactions. Through six interviews and accompanying sound works, hosts Julia and Amanda invite us to reconsider our relationship with sound; how can we resonate with what surrounds us?
AKOH is a project by Julia E. Dyck and Amanda Harvey. Long-time collaborators, they have co-created works including radio productions, audiovisual performances, installations, interventions, workshops and events. While the scope of their work is vast, the focus remains on exploring the transformative powers of sound.
The first 45 minutes of the experience are devoted to an interview with the guest, followed by 15 minutes of listening to a sound creation made by the guest.
