Le Canadian Jazz Collective est un groupe nouvellement créé d’artistes de jazz canadiens établis et primés, qui adopte une approche collaborative de la présentation du jazz canadien original sur le marché international. Le répertoire du collectif comprend des compositions originales du saxophoniste Kirk MacDonald et du trompettiste Derrick Gardner, ainsi que des œuvres du guitariste Lorne Lofsky, l’un des héros méconnus de la scène jazz canadienne, toutes spécialement arrangées pour cet ensemble.
The Canadian Jazz Collective is a newly created group of established and Award-Winning Canadian jazz artists, which takes a collaborative approach to the presentation of original Canadian jazz on the international market. The Collective’s repertoire consists of original compositions from saxophonist Kirk MacDonald, and trumpeter Derrick Gardner, and also the works of guitarist Lorne Lofsky, one of the unsung heroes on the Canadian jazz scene – all specially arranged for this ensemble.
