Le Montréalais Bruce Liu, lauréat du prestigieux Concours de piano Chopin 2021 et vainqueur du Concours OSM 2012, interprétera avec l’Orchestre le Concerto no 2 de Chopin sous la baguette de Dalia Stasevska. La cheffe finlando-ukrainienne diaprera la Maison symphonique de couleurs nordiques avec la mystérieuse Symphonie no 6 de Sibelius, qui dissimule sous une apparente tranquillité une force intérieure peu commune.
Montrealer Bruce Liu, winner of the prestigious 2021 Chopin Piano Competition and of the 2012 OSM Competition, performs Chopin’s Concerto no. 2 with the Orchestra under the baton of Finnish-Ukrainian conductor Dalia Stasevska. The Maestra will also make the Maison symphonique resonate with Nordic sounds in a performance of Sibelius’ mysterious Symphony no. 6, whose apparent tranquility conceals uncommon inner strength.
