Boulila, fusion unique de la tradition Gnawa africaine avec jazz, blues, funk, afrobeat, a débuté en 2016 sous la direction de Yassine Boudouch. Après des débuts traditionnels à Montréal, le groupe a évolué vers une formation fusion en 2019, collaborant avec des artistes tels que WuSen Fam, Maroccouleurs, et Kais. La percée s’est concrétisée avec le premier prix au tremplin Syli D’or, attirant l’attention des médias dont “Le Devoir”. Invités à des festivals prestigieux en 2021, Boulila marque son impact sur la scène musicale québécoise et internationale. Le groupe prévoit un EP prometteur, confirmant son influence grandissante et son engagement dans la scène musicale mondiale et québécoise.

Boulila, a unique fusion of African Gnawa tradition with jazz, blues, funk, afrobeat, began in 2016 under the direction of Yassine Boudouch. After starting out in a traditional vein in Montreal, the group transitioned to a fusion formation in 2019, collaborating with artists such as WuSen Fam, Maroccouleurs, and Kais. The breakthrough came with the first prize at the Syli D’or springboard, attracting media attention including “Le Devoir”. Invited to prestigious festivals in 2021, Boulila made its mark on both the Quebec and international music scene. The group plans to release a promising EP, confirming its growing influence and commitment to both the global and Quebec music scenes.
