Souvent qualifié de ” Thinking man’s metal band “, Between the Buried and Me continue de repousser les limites de ses capacités musicales et techniques, même en célébrant son 20e anniversaire. Formé en 2000, le groupe a sorti neuf albums studio, dont watershed Colors (2007), The Parallax II : Future Sequence (2012), ainsi que Coma Ecliptic (2015), qui a non seulement atteint la 12e place du Billboard Top 200 (un sommet en carrière pour le groupe), mais a également été largement acclamé par Noisey, Revolver, Alternative Press et The Guardian, qui a salué l’album en lui attribuant une note parfaite, ce qui est rare. Le groupe a effectué d’innombrables tournées à guichets fermés en tête d’affiche et en première partie d’artistes tels que Mastodon, Opeth et Coheed and Cambria. Plus récemment, Between the Buried and Me a sorti un album studio en deux parties, Automata I et Automata II en 2018.

Often referred to as a “Thinking man’s metal band,” Between the Buried and Me continue to push the boundaries of their musical and technical abilities, even as they celebrate their 20th anniversary together. Formed in 2000, the band has released nine studio albums, including 2007’s watershed Colors, The Parallax II: Future Sequence (2012), as well as 2015’s Coma Ecliptic—which not only peaked at #12 on the Billboard Top 200 (a career-high for the band), but also garnered widespread acclaim from Noisey, Revolver, Alternative Press, and The Guardian, who welcomed the album with a rare perfect score. The group has launched countless sold-out headline tours and support runs with the likes of Mastodon, Opeth, and Coheed and Cambria. Most recently, Between the Buried and Me released a two-part studio album, Automata I and Automata II in 2018.
