La soirée revisite également Smilets Historie LIVE (2023), arrangé pour 26 musiciens : une musique oscillant entre jazz, pop et grands espaces nordiques.
Bendik Hofseth and the Orchestre national de jazz de Montréal (ONJ): a deepening collaboration, and a new song cycle in world premiere. For the third time, the ONJ welcomes Bendik Hofseth—saxophonist, singer, composer—to the Cinquième Salle. Jean-Nicolas Trottier has written a new song cycle expressly for him, a world premiere conceived for his voice and saxophone together. The evening also revisits Smilets Historie LIVE (2023), arranged for 26 musicians: music that moves between jazz, pop, and the wide Nordic expanses.
