Alain Bédard a une carrière professionnelle fort active en tant que musicien, depuis les années 1980. Bien qu’avec un passage vers le Word Beat avec l’ensemble DADJE (groupe sénégalo-québécois), puis la danseuse antillaise Josianne Antourel et le classique avec le violoniste Martin Foster (Orchestre de musique de Chambre de l’UQAM), il a toujours, entretenu une passion pour le jazz. Ainsi on l’a vu jouer avec les groupes québécois Ogane Song, Carole Therrien, Jazzlab Orchestra, les musiciens Michel Lambert, Félix Stüssi, Pierre Tanguay, Rafael Zaldivar, John Roney, Frank Lozano, Michel Côté, François Bourassa, Rémi Bolduc, Joe Sullivan, André Leroux, etc, et aussi plusieurs artistes internationaux dont ; François Théberge, Donny McCaslin, Stéphane Belmondo, Julien Loureau, Ted Nash, Pascal Shumacher, Thoine Thys, etc.
Alain Bédard has had a very active professional career as a musician since the 1980s. His participation in various major events has taken him all over the world, giving him a fascinating experience.
