Stars est un groupe indie-rock/pop de Montréal, Canada. Ils sont devenus actifs en 2000 avec leur premier album Nightsongs et en ont sorti sept autres depuis.

Le groupe est composé de Torquil Campbell (co-chanteur principal, synthétiseur, mélodica), Amy Millan (co-chanteur principal, guitare), Evan Cranley (bassiste), Chris Seligman (clavier, cor), Patrick McGee (batterie) et Chris Mc Carron (guitare). Leur musique est connue pour ses textes obsédants et narratifs sur l’amour, les conflits et les relations, et présente souvent des voix douces de Campbell et/ou Millan sur des instruments sonores.

Stars is an indie-rock/pop band from Montreal, Canada. They became active in 2000 with their first album Nightsongs and have released seven more since.

They are comprised of Torquil Campbell (co-lead singer, synth, melodica), Amy Millan (co-lead singer, guitar), Evan Cranley (bassist), Chris Seligman (keyboard, French horn), Patrick McGee (drums), and Chris Mc Carron (guitar). Their music is known for haunting, narrative lyrics about love, conflict, and relationships, and often feature soft vocals from Campbell and/or Millan against sonical instrumentals.
