Benjamin Deschamps est un saxophoniste et compositeur reconnu par ses pairs de la scène canadienne de jazz, mais également par l’industrie culturelle. Il a entre autres été nommé « Révélation Radio-Canada Jazz » en 2017-2018, puis a remporté le Grand Prix TD du Festival international de Jazz de Montréal en 2019.
Benjamin cumule les médiums artistiques : il est flûtiste, clarinettiste et arrangeur, mais ce sont ses talents de saxophoniste et compositeur qui le mettront sur la sellette.
It was through his classical music background that Benjamin Deschamps discovered jazz to finally make it his own.
