The Beths est un groupe originaire d’Auckland, en Nouvelle-Zélande, composé de la vocaliste/guitariste Elizabeth Stokes, du guitariste Jonathan Pearce, du bassiste Benjamin Sinclair et du batteur Tristan Deck. Stokes, Pearce et Sinclair ont commencé à jouer de la musique ensemble lorsqu’ils étaient au lycée, tandis que Deck les a rencontrés sur la scène musicale locale et a rejoint le groupe en 2019.
Le troisième et meilleur album de The Beths, Expert In A Dying Field, sortira le 16 septembre 2022 via Carpark Records. Ses 12 chansons explorent la même pop bruyante, cérébrale et indie-rock-meets-power des disques précédents, mais imprégnée d’un choc électrique d’une nouvelle confiance : un disque destiné à être vécu en live.

Stokes, Pearce, and Sinclair started playing music together when they were in high school, while Deck met them through the local music scene and joined the band in 2019.
The Beths’ third and best album, Expert In A Dying Field, will be released on September 16, 2022 via Carpark Records. Its 12 songs explore the same noisy, cerebral indie-rock-meets-power pop of earlier records, but imbued with an electric shock of new confidence: a record meant to be experienced live.
