DYSTINCT est né à Anvers en 1998 sous le nom d’Iliass Mansouri. Son père était chanteur et, enfant, DYSTINCT l’accompagnait souvent à ses spectacles. Sa passion pour la musique grandit, mais le chanteur a du mal à parler librement de ses ambitions car ses parents ne sont pas d’accord avec son choix de carrière. Néanmoins, la personnalité progressive de DYSTINCT lui permet, à l’âge de 14 ans, de continuer à développer ses talents musicaux de manière professionnelle. Ce travail acharné a rapidement été récompensé : son premier single, “No Ring Ring”, compte plus de 3 millions de vues sur YouTube et plus de 4 millions de streams sur Spotify. Son son est décrit comme étant urbain avec des éléments de fusion arabe. Il a déjà travaillé avec des noms comme Chawki (Maroc), Franglish (France), F1rstman (Pays-Bas), DJ Leska (France), Zefanio (Pays-Bas) et bien d’autres. DYSTINCT travaille actuellement sur son premier album qui sortira bientôt.

DYSTINCT was born in Antwerp in 1998 with the name Iliass Mansouri. His father was a singer and as a child, DYSTINCT often accompanied him to his performances. His passion for music grew, but the singer struggled to talk freely about his ambitions because his parents did not agree with his career choice. Nevertheless, DYSTINCT’s progressive personality ensured that, at the age of 14, he continued to develop his musical talents professionally. This hard work was soon rewarded, his debut single “No Ring Ring” has over 3 million views on YouTube and over 4 million streams on Spotify. His sound is best described as urban with Arabic fusion elements. He has previously worked with names like Chawki (Morocco), Franglish (France), F1rstman (The Netherlands), DJ Leska (France), Zefanio (The Netherlands) and many others. DYSTINCT is currently working on his debut album which will be released soon.
