Liturgy est un groupe américain de black metal originaire de Brooklyn, New York. Le groupe est composé de Haela Hunt-Hendrix (chant, guitare), Mario Miron (guitare), Tia Vincent-Clark (basse) et Leo Didkovsky (batterie). Le groupe a décrit sa musique comme du « black metal transcendantal », notamment dans un manifeste écrit par Hunt-Hendrix ; dans le processus de transformation de leur style de black metal, ils ont expérimenté d’autres genres, y compris le rock progressif, le hip hop et la musique électronique. Au début du groupe, Hunt-Hendrix a exprimé son intérêt pour le travail de Swans, Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, La Monte Young et Lightning Bolt en tant qu’influences.

Khemmis est un groupe de doomed heavy metal originaire de Denver, CO. Formé en 2012, le groupe a émergé de l’underground avec son album Absolution en 2015. L’année suivante, Hunted, sorti en 2016, a séduit les critiques et les fans du monde entier et a été nommé album de l’année par le magazine Decibel et parmi les meilleurs albums de métal de l’année par Rolling Stone. Après un calendrier de tournée chargé en Europe et en Amérique du Nord, Khemmis est revenu avec son troisième album complet, Desolation, fin 2018, encore plus acclamé et soutenu par Nuclear Blast Records en dehors des États-Unis.

Le groupe s’est ensuite lancé dans une vaste tournée et a participé à de nombreux festivals avant de se remettre à écrire de la nouvelle musique et de sortir un ensemble de raretés et d’extraits d’albums live pour rassurer les fans avec Doomed Heavy Metal, sorti en 2020. Aujourd’hui, en 2021, Khemmis sort de son sommeil pour sortir un nouvel album complet, le premier à être soutenu par Nuclear Blast dans le monde entier, et le plus sombre à ce jour, à l’automne.

Khemmis is a doomed heavy metal band from Denver, CO. Formed in 2012, the group rose from the underground with their 2015 album Absolution. Son premier album Ombre produit par le duo industriel torontois Odonis Odonis sortira en avril 2023.

Renonce is an industrial/electronic music project from Montreal. The percussive sequences of industrial drum machines accompany the walls of sound of distortion-saturated synthesizers and guitars. His debut album Ombre produced by Toronto industrial duo Odonis Odonis will be released in April 2023.

Xeno & Oaklander est un duo d’électronique minimale (Liz Wendelbo et Sean McBride de Martial Canterel) basé à Brooklyn, New York. Ils sont profondément impliqués dans la communauté du synthé analogique depuis 2004 (sortie de leur premier LP Vigils sur Xanten), et ont contribué à promouvoir et inspirer le renouveau de la synth wave aux Etats-Unis et dans le monde entier grâce à leurs nombreuses tournées et à leur production prolifique.

Xeno & Oaklander are a minimal electronics duo (Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride of Martial Canterel) based in Brooklyn, New York. They have been deeply involved in the analog synth community since 2004 (the release of their debut Vigils LP on Xanten), and have helped promote and inspire the revival of synth wave in the US and throughout the world through their extensive touring and prolific output.

Ajoutant plus tard le désordre des clés qu’ils appellent Dylan Fernandez, la basse de Kate Gutwald et le tambourin de Nazar Kahmis, le groupe est fier de son approche dure et grinçante de la musique soul. Leur musique est mélodique et axée sur les paroles, avec des voix puissantes et des guitares punk chaotiques. Miranda and The Beat capture l’immédiateté et la crasse de la ville de New York avec leur contribution contemporaine à l’histoire de la soul et du rock-n-roll. Miranda and The Beat was formed in 2018 by vocalist and guitarist Miranda Zipse and drummer Kim (the Beat) Sollecito. Later adding the mess of keys they call Dylan Fernandez, the bass of Kate Gutwald and the tambourine of Nazar Kahmis, the band prides itself on their tough and gritty approach to soul music. Reaching back to influences like Wendy Rene and Little Anne, their music is melodic and lyric driven with gutsy powerhouse vocals and chaotic punk guitar. Miranda and The Beat captures the immediacy and grime of New York City with their contemporary contribution the history of soul and rock-n-roll. Elle sort son premier singles et vidéos musicales en 2013, son premier EP, Saudade, en novembre 2013 , puis en 2017, un album Crawl Space.

Valerie Teicher, born October 4, 1990, better known by her stage name Tei Shi, is an Argentine indie pop singer-songwriter and producer, currently based in Brooklyn. She released her first singles and music videos in 2013, her first EP, Saudade, in November 2013 , then in 2017, an album Crawl Space.

Katherine Paul, qui se produit sous le nom de Black Belt Eagle Scout, a d’abord appris à jouer du tambour avec le groupe de tambours de sa famille, les Skagit Valley Singers. Parfois, Paul attaque son kit avec abandon ; ailleurs, un rythme régulier se transforme lentement en ébullition. Tout à la fois ou lentement et régulièrement : Les deux approches évoquent l’urgence et le besoin de s’échapper. Il est temps pour Paul de rentrer chez lui. The Land, the Water, the Sky est une étude intime du voyage de retour rocailleux de Paul, à l’époque de COVID, de Portland à ses terres ancestrales dans la communauté tribale indienne de Swinomish, et de la paix durement gagnée qu’elle a trouvée une fois arrivée.

Katherine Paul, who performs under the moniker Black Belt Eagle Scout, first learned to drum from her family’s drum group, the Skagit Valley Singers. The Land, the Water, the Sky, is an intimate survey of Paul’s rocky, COVID-era return trip from Portland to her ancestral lands in the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community and the hard-won peace she found once she arrived.
