Brigante est un duo montréalais formé de Gen Brigitte Bernier et Alex Crow. Leur son envoûtant, entre rock psyché, électro, shoegaze et post-punk, mêle guitares criantes et ambiantes, rythmes organiques, textures électroniques et voix feutrée. Une poésie cinématographique bilingue portée par un univers vaporeux.

Brigante is a Montreal-based duo formed by Gen Brigitte Bernier and Alex Crow. Their hypnotic sound blends psych rock, shoegaze, and post-punk, weaving together screaming and ambient guitars, organic rhythms, textured electronics, and a soft, spellbinding voice. A bilingual, cinematic poetry wrapped in a vaporous universe.

Antoine Corriveau (23h)

Avec Oiseau de Nuit, Antoine Corriveau plonge dans des histoires inventées et des secrets enfouis, explorant la dissociation et la transformation à travers une écriture poétique et intense. Inspiré par certaines techniques du hip-hop et porté par des musiciens complices, l’album et le spectacle s’enrichissent d’improvisations libres et d’une énergie collective. Entre mémoire et fantasme, mélodies proches du R&B et atmosphères enveloppantes, Oiseau de Nuit devient une expérience unique, intime et universelle.

With Oiseau de Nuit, Antoine Corriveau dives into invented stories and buried secrets, exploring dissociation and transformation through poetic, intense songwriting. Inspired by certain hip-hop techniques and carried by close musical collaborators, both the album and the live show are enriched with free improvisation and a strong sense of collective energy. Moving between memory and fantasy, with melodies tinged with R&B and enveloping atmospheres, Oiseau de Nuit becomes a singular experience, at once intimate and universal.

Décrit comme un groupe « arty post-everything » (Cups N Cakes), Sunglaciers brouille les frontières entre un mélodisme léché et une expérimentation opaque, entre un romantisme de bon augure et une dissidence débridée. Bien qu’ancrées dans les étranges réalités de notre époque, leurs chansons sont traversées par un optimisme certain, nourri d’éléments psychédéliques savamment dosés et de rythmes vibrants, donnant naissance à une forme singulière de proto-pop kaléidoscopique. Depuis sa formation, le quatuor a déployé son spectacle intense, immersif et effréné dans de nombreux foyers alternatifs, tournant abondamment au Canada, aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni. Dans la foulée des albums encensés Foreign Bodies, Subterranea et Regular Nature, la formation calgarienne revient aujourd’hui avec Spiritual Content (27 mars 2026, via Mothland), approfondissant les clairs-obscurs du post-punk tout en s’attachant, avec humilité, à redéfinir son identité sonore.

“Arty post-everything” (Cups N Cakes) group Sunglaciers’ music blurs the boundaries between polished melodicism and opaque experimentation, auspicious romanticism and unbridled dissent. Though anchored in the strange realities of our times, their songs are laced with a certain optimism through well-calculated psych elements and vibrant rhythms, making for a unique strand of kaleidoscopic proto-pop. Since forming, the four-piece have brought their intense, immersive and fast-paced live set to a number of alternative hotbeds, touring extensively in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. Following up on critically-acclaimed full-length efforts Foreign Bodies, Subterranea, and Regular Nature, the Calgary outfit now returns with Spiritual Content (March 27th, 2026 via Mothland), further exploring the chiaroscuro depths of post-punk, while also humbly setting out to redefine their sound.

Après avoir longtemps exploré les textures numériques et les mirages de la pop moderne, blesse revient à la base: un band de rock. Celui des amplis trop forts, des refrains qui collent et des amitiés cimentées dans le vacarme. Formé à la suite de Zen Bamboo, le trio composé de Léo LeBlanc, Xavier Touikan et Charles-Antoine Olivier (CAO) s’est d’abord complètement abandonné dans la production maison et l’expérimentation. Aujourd’hui, blesse, épaulé par Indy Bouvier (Bouvier Normal), veux retrouver les riffs de guitare, la sueur et la force du nombre.

After years spent exploring digital textures and the mirages of modern pop, blesse is coming back to basics: a rock band. The kind with amps that are too loud, choruses that stick, and friendships forged in the noise. Formed in the aftermath of Zen Bamboo, the trio — Léo LeBlanc, Xavier Touikan, and Charles-Antoine Olivier (CAO) — first dove head-first into home-studio production and experimentation. Today, with the support of Indy Bouvier (Bouvier Normal), blesse wants to return to guitar riffs, sweat, and the power of playing together.

Directement de Montréal, K-Man & the 45s est un important membre de la scène ska depuis plusieurs années. Le mot s’est passé rapidement; en fait, dès que les gars montent sur scène, le public devient fou ! K-Man & the 45s ont partagé la scène avec des groupes tels que The Slackers, The Skatalites, Catch 22, The Brains et beaucoup plus !

K-Man & The 45s, where Ska meets Rock and Roll. With a fantastic horn section playing catchy melodic lines and blazing solos over an energetic rhythm section, they switch naturally from ska to rock and punk, with surf sounds often not far behind. They’ve shared the stage with a million bands including: The Slackers, Big D and The Kids Table, The Satellites, The Original Wailers , The Planet Smashers, The Brains and many more. 

The Beatdown

Depuis 2009, ces vétérans de la scène underground montréalaise poussent le vieux son Jamaïcain qu’ils chérissent tant vers de nouveaux sommets en y incorporant entre autres des éléments de soul, de rock n’ roll, et de punk, livré avec cran.

They call it Northern Reggae…A one-hundred proof blend of raspy rocksteady, sizzling soul, surf swagger and punkrock pedigree shaken (not stirred) with a double shot of the roughest roots reggae your ears have ever tasted. Pour it into a highball glass over some ice-cold lyrics and you’ve got The Beatdown’s latest full-length offering “Walkin’ Proud”.

Énergique, captivant, et parfois tumultueux – distraction4ever est le nouveau groupe en ville. Basé à Montréal, il mêle des influences post-punk diverses avec des amplificateurs cassés, des synthétiseurs analogiques, des boîtes à rythmes rapides, des explorations texturales et des voix saturées, laissant le public à la fois nostalgique, inspiré et prêt pour un autre verre de vin.

Energetic, captivating, and occasionally tumultuous – distraction4ever is the latest band in town. The Montreal-based blends diverse post-punk influences with broken amplifiers, analog synthesizers, rapid drum machines, textural explorations and distorted vocals, leaving the audience simultaneously nostalgic, inspired and ready for another glass of wine.

The Drin

Le rock garage souterrain, le punk art eccentric, le dub menaçant et les ballades sombres et tendres prennent chacun leur tour sous les projecteurs. Les albums de The Drin sont des incursions vastes, débordant d’hymnes industriels-folk-dub écrits à l’ombre de vieilles usines datant de plusieurs décennies qui résonnent parfois encore de vie.

Subterranean garage rock, eccentric art punk, menacing dub, and bleak, tender ballads all take turns in the spotlight. The Drin albums are sprawling forays, teeming with industrial-folk-dub anthems written in the shadow of decades-old factories that still occasionally thrum with life.

Taverne Tour : Hippie Hourrah et Moonwalks au Pub West Shefford

Le trio composé de Miles Dupire-Gagnon, Gabriel Lambert et Cédric Marinelli distribue autant la sagesse des anciens que la médecine des barmen. « Des gars qui font mine de s’en foutre, mais qui démarrent au quart de tour, les riffs à vif, déments et étirables » (dixit Les Inrockuptibles). Leur marathon de réverbérations court comme une hémorragie joyeuse, chauffée par un soleil aux pupilles dilatées ; le visage serein de la cryptique « Sun Family », cette assemblée de fidèles du groupe au sujet de laquelle ce dernier reste avare de commentaires.

A band from which epic reverberations flow as from a joyous fountain, warmed by a serene cartoon sun with dilated pupils: the face of the cryptic, gnomic “Sun Family”, as the group’s devoted fan base is known. Guys who “look like they don’t give a damn, but who tick like clockwork, with raw, insane riffs” (as Les Inrockuptibles put it). Following their 2020 eponymous debut effort on Simone Records, Hippie Hourrah returns in 2023 with Exposition individuelle, a concept album around the work of Quebec painter Jacques Hurtubise (1939–2014).

Moonwalks consists of Kerrigan Pearce (drums), Jacob Dean (guitar), and Kate Gutwald (bass). Originating in Detroit’s DIY scene, the trio started out playing in warehouses and makeshift venues across the city. Since then, they’ve gone on to tour extensively throughout North America and Europe supporting acts like The Murlocs, Metric, Julian Casablancas & The Voidz, Thee Oh Sees, Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Shannon & The Clams.

Moonwalks est composé de Kerrigan Pearce (batterie), Jacob Dean (guitare) et Kate Gutwald (basse). Issu de la scène DIY de Détroit, le trio a commencé à jouer dans des entrepôts et des salles improvisées à travers la ville. Depuis, ils ont effectué de nombreuses tournées en Amérique du Nord et en Europe, assurant la première partie de groupes tels que The Murlocs, Metric, Julian Casablancas & The Voidz, Thee Oh Sees, Brian Jonestown Massacre et Shannon & The Clams.

Le Taverne Tour présente Drogue & Chou au Pub West Shefford

C’est par ennui de mettre trop de guitares et trop d’amplis dans un truck pour aller jouer trop fort quelque part que la formation Drogue apparaît. Amis de longue date, Stéphane Papillon et Jean-Sébastien Chouinard (XLarge) avaient envie de ramener le rock énergique, revendicateur et explosif dans un paysage où le style a pris une tangente un peu plus cérébrale depuis quelques années. C’est ainsi en invitant Pierre Fortin (Les Dales Hawerchuk) à se joindre à l’exaltation que le groupe décide de se parker au studio Tone Bender pour travailler sur ce qui deviendra son premier EP éponyme.

It was out of boredom of putting too many guitars and too many amps in a truck to go play too loud somewhere that the band Drogue appeared. Long time friends, Stéphane Papillon and Jean-Sébastien Chouinard (XLarge) wanted to bring back energetic and explosive rock in a landscape where the style has taken a more cerebral tangent for a few years. It is thus by inviting Pierre Fortin (Les Dales Hawerchuk) to join the exaltation that the group decides to parker in the Tone Bender studio to work on what will become its first eponymous EP.
