Over the past decade, Le Vent du Nord has become the most capable carriage for trad sounds in francophone North America. This summit meeting with De Temps Antan, an offshoot of the ubiquitous Bottine souriante, was the perfect way to create this opus. Two national treasures are better than one! Collected, updated, and arranged for eight versatile singers/musicians, these 11 songs and instrumental pieces constitute a body of work that will be enjoyed by future generations. The advances observed here will reflect our epoch, signs of where trad was at in 2018.
