Join us for a concert of discoveries with the Canadian premiere of the Trumpet Concerto by the iconic Wynton Marsalis. This captivating work was jointly commissioned by five major orchestras, including the OSM. With humour and energy, it traces the history of an instrument through the centuries, in a wide array of styles. You will also experience the sound of the giant octobass in Evangelista’s Accelerando, a remarkable work that depicts the Montreal metro!
