Tim Brady présente Intentions fragmentaires à l’Édifice Wilder

Fri 09 Jun 2023 • 07:30 pm Avant-Garde
Salle Bleue – Édifice Wilder - Montréal À partir de 18$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

This new multidisciplinary show by Tim Brady is a true invitation to travel through 20 miniatures where beauty and desolation coexist. The composer’s music is paired with the captivating images of photographer Catherine Marcogliese and the choreographic creations of Charles Brécard.

Intentions fragmentaires is a multidisciplinary collaboration that combines the expansive sound of a solo electric guitar, dynamic choreography for three dancers, and a stunning montage of landscape photographs. Tim Brady will perform his latest album, “Symphony in 18 Parts” live while Charles Brécard will lead his hybrid urban-traditional-contemporary dance choreography, all while immersed in a projection of stunning photography by Catherine Marcogliese.

In this series of 55-minute journeys, we will explore nature and the human soul in places where beauty and desolation coexist. We must ask ourselves important questions about our intentions for these journeys, individually and as a society. What is our starting point? What is our destination? Are our journeys just a fragment of a larger reality, or is each journey a unique and complete experience in itself? To fully understand and answer these questions, we will engage all of our senses through play, dance, observation and listening.
