Le super-groupe de hip-hop montréalais NOMADIC MASSIVE est reconnu pour sa musique funky, ses paroles réfléchies et ses spectacles remplis d’action. Considéré comme le premier groupe de hip-hop live indépendant de la ville, il est aujourd’hui un incontournable de la scène musicale montréalaise. Cette véritable bête de scène a chauffé les planches du monde entier, ayant connu une évolution fascinante depuis sa création en 2004. Ayant résisté à l’épreuve du temps, Nomadic Massive a su s’adapter et se transformer au fil des ans, tout en gardant un sens constant de la communauté et une perspective internationale. Dans le cadre de ce concert spécial – 20ieme anniversaire, le public peut s’attendre à une performance qui fera vibrer la foule. Nomadic Massive partagera son énergie scénique sans égale, livrée dans les langues qui composent les communautés multiculturelles de Montréal. Le spectacle mettra en avant non-seulement la musique de leur dernier EP, intitulé Out Of Town, mais se penchera également sur des classiques de leur catalogue qui mettront en vedette un large éventail d’invités d’honneur surprises, qui ont tous été un élément pilier de l’histoire de Nomadic Massive. Pour l’occasion, le groupe sortira également un disque vinyle de 7 pouces exclusif, en édition limitée, de leur tout nouveau single intitulé If I Want To Live. Le Block Party vous fera danser aux sons de DJ Static de Wefunk Radio ainsi que de Dr.Mad de Voyage Funktastique.

Montreal hip-hop supergroup NOMADIC MASSIVE is renowned for its funky music, thoughtful lyrics and action-packed shows. Considered the city’s first independent live hip-hop group, they are now a fixture on the Montreal music scene. This veritable beast of a band has warmed up stages the world over, having undergone a fascinating evolution since its creation in 2004. Having stood the test of time, Nomadic Massive has adapted and transformed itself over the years, while maintaining a constant sense of community and an international outlook. As part of this special 20th anniversary concert, audiences can look forward to a crowd-pleasing performance. Nomadic Massive will share its unrivalled stage energy, delivered in the languages that make up Montreal’s multicultural communities. The show will not only feature music from their latest EP, Out Of Town, but will also delve into classics from their catalog, featuring a wide range of surprise guests of honor, all of whom have been a mainstay of Nomadic Massive’s history. For the occasion, the band will also be releasing an exclusive, limited-edition 7-inch vinyl record of their brand-new single entitled If I Want To Live. The Block Party will have you dancing to the sounds of DJ Static from Wefunk Radio and Dr.Mad from Voyage Funktastique.
