Dutch Interior
Dutch Interior compose des chansons qui prennent de l’ampleur à mesure qu’elles se déploient. Le groupe de six musiciens originaire du sud de la Californie mélange ambient, slowcore, folk expérimental et rock américain dans une approche à la fois intime et ambitieuse. Leur album Moneyball paru chez Fat Possum en 2025 révélait déjà leur capacité à relier différentes traditions musicales en une œuvre cohérente et profondément émotionnelle. Le nouvel EP It’s Glass pousse encore plus loin cette approche, avec des compositions enregistrées au célèbre Hyde Street Studios de San Francisco. Les morceaux naviguent entre délicatesse, improvisation et textures atmosphériques.
Dutch Interior write songs that expand upon release. The Southern California six-piece (comprised of Conner Reeves, Hayden Barton, Shane Barton, Jack Nugent, Noah Kurtz, and Davis Stewart), most of whom have known each other since childhood, create music that can feel both outside of space and time yet deeply connected to it. 2025’s Fat Possum full-length debut Moneyball, made within the confines of their self-built Long Beach Studio, showcased the band’s knack for connecting the dots, conjoining aspects of ambient, slowcore, experimental folk, southern rock and more into something both cohesive and inquisitive. It’s music that has always considered the complexity of the world around them and the simple things that bind us together. New EP It’s Glass evolves these ideas in ways that sound both bigger and more intimate, with five tracks that fit together as much as they color outside the lines, like small universes that could not exist without each other.
Racecourse
Entre les travaux de physique, les quarts de travail au lave-auto et les matchs de soccer, Racecourse voit le jour à l’hiver 2022. Le quintette indie rock (Reya Langen, Graeme Stage, Jackson Pruett, Ben Chung et Joaquin Jorgensen) s’est serré les coudes pendant les hivers boueux de Santa Cruz, entre la chambre de Jackson et le garage de Graeme. Avec des enregistreuses à ruban et des ordinateurs portables, le groupe a complété son premier album, July, December, dans un chalet au bord de la rivière Yuba à l’hiver 2025. Maintenant établi à New York, Racecourse poursuit sa route.
Squished between physics papers, shifts at the carwash, and soccer games, Racecourse was formed in the winter of 2022. The indie rock quintet (Reya Langen, Graeme Stage, Jackson Pruett, Ben Chung, and Joaquin Jorgensen) huddled together through muddy Santa Cruz winters in Jackson’s bedroom and Graeme’s garage. Working with tape machines and laptops, they completed their debut record, July, December, in a cabin by the Yuba River in the winter of 2025. Now living in New York, Racecourse moves forward.
Lapelúda
Avec une voix qui porte à la fois la vulnérabilité et la force, Lapelúda transcende les barrières linguistiques grâce à un récit trilingue : des chansons qui deviennent des fils de guérison entre l’innocence, le deuil, la réconciliation et la joie. Récemment choisie pour la cohorte MUZ 2025, Lapelúda est une voix montante colombo-québécoise de la scène latino indie-folk. Elle marie l’âme des inspirations musicales latino-américaines à une touche contemporaine profondément personnelle. Son EP récemment paru, « entre cielo y tierra » (automne 2025), approfondit son exploration de la fragilité et de la résilience de la vie.
With a voice that carries both vulnerability and power, Lapelúda transcends language barriers through trilingual storytelling—offering songs that serve as healing threads between innocence, grief, reconciliation, and joy. Recently chosen as MUZ 2025 cohort, Lapelúda is a colombo-québécois rising voice in the latin indie-folk scene. She blends the soul of Latin American musical inspirations with a deeply personal, contemporary touch. Her recently release EP “entre cielo y tierra” (Fall 2025) deepens her exploration of life’s fragility and resilience.
