Au programme, le gracieux et noble Trio pour piano et cordes «Sonatensatz» de Schubert, puis le Quatuor à cordes no19 de Mozart, surnommé «Les Dissonances» pour son introduction lente et tendue. Le Quintette pour piano et cordes de Brahms, l’une des œuvres les plus achevées de ce maître de la musique de chambre, vient clore la soirée.

BRAHMS Quintette pour piano et cordes en fa mineur, op. 34

The program includes Schubert’s graceful and noble Piano Trio “Sonatensatz” and Mozart’s String Quartet No.19, nicknamed “Dissonance” for its slow, tension-filled introduction. Brahms’ Piano Quintet, one of the most accomplished works of this master of chamber music, brings the concert to a close.
