Life of Agony a émergé de la scène musicale new-yorkaise au début des années 90 avec l’un des sons les plus distinctifs du genre. Surtout connu pour son premier album de metal/crossover “River Runs Red”, sorti en 1993 et classé par Rolling Stone parmi les “100 plus grands albums de metal de tous les temps”, le groupe s’est instantanément construit un public fidèle. Pendant plus de trois décennies, le groupe a tourné sans relâche dans le monde entier, partageant la scène avec les plus grands noms du rock, notamment Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters et les Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Life of Agony emerged from the New York music scene in the early ’90s with one of the most distinctive sounds in its genre. Best known for its 1993 metal/crossover debut “River Runs Red”, named by Rolling Stone as being one of the “100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time” the band instantly built a die-hard, cult following. For over three decades, the group toured relentlessly all over the world, sharing stages with the biggest names in rock, including Metallica, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
