Leverage For Mountains (LFM) est formé de Nick Loyer, Jay Trépanier et Jay Flynn. Basé à Gatineau, le trio folk indépendant a rapidement gagné en popularité grâce à un son acoustique riche et des harmonies vocales puissantes. En 2022, la formation a lancé son deuxième opus intitulé Love Out of the Dark lors d’un spectacle à guichet fermé à la salle Jean-Desprèz de Gatineau. LFM est d’ailleurs le premier groupe ou artiste émergent à remplir cette salle aussi rapidement, un record!
« Less is more » est la devise que le trio utilise pour qualifier son approche musicale axée sur la simplicité. Les harmonies saisissantes de leurs chansons conjuguées à des textes poignants séduisent le public, qui en redemande.
Leverage For Mountains (LFM) is made up of Nick Loyer, Jay Trépanier and Jay Flynn. Based in Gatineau, the indie folk trio is rapidly gaining popularity with a rich acoustic sound and powerful vocal harmonies. In 2022, the trio launched their second album, Love Out of the Dark, at a sold-out performance at Salle Jean-Desprèz in Gatineau, where all tickets were sold out in just a few hours. The band is the first emerging artist to fill this venue in record time.
“Less is more” is the motto the trio uses to describe their approach to their music. Their striking harmonies, coupled with the poignant lyrics of their songs, undoubtedly leave their listeners wanting more.
