- Montreal Gratuit
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

“This free spirit has made his mark where it was least expected. He’s a luminous figure who has built future for himself outside the path that had been set out for him” (Jeune Afrique, 2016). Without a doubt THE Reggaeman of Montreal, Dakka Dembélé follows in the footsteps Alpha Blondy and Tiken Jah Fakoly, combining the Bob Marley musical tradition with his Malian and Ivorian roots. Ever the militant for a better world, he lends his voice in French, Bambara and Dyula to all those who are less priviledged. His album, was release in 2020 under the Disques Nuits d’Afrique label.
