Kyle Thomas, alias King Tuff, est un rockeur états-unien, originaire du Vermont, qui s’est fait connaître plus sérieusement avec une excellente galette éponyme parue en 2012. Deux ans plus tard, le rayonnement de l’artiste s’accentuait avec la parution de Black Moon Spell. Avec The Other (2018), le musicien amorce un virage rassembleur, tout en conservant l’aura glam-rock qui l’a toujours caractérisé. Un instrumentiste respecté autant par ses pairs que par la presse spécialisée. Avec Smalltown Stardust (2023), Thomas se transforme complètement, délaissant le rock pur et dur au profit d’un son remémorant celui de Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, sans perdre l’influence coutumière de Marc Bolan (T.Rex).

Two years later, the artist’s influence grew with the release of Black Moon Spell. With The Other (2018), the musician begins a rallying turn, while maintaining the glam-rock aura that has always characterized him. An instrumentalist respected as much by his peers as by the specialized press. With Smalltown Stardust (2023), Thomas transforms himself completely, abandoning the pure and hard rock in favor of a sound reminiscent of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, without losing the usual influence of Marc Bolan (T.Rex).
