Initialement influencé par Meshuggah, Chopin, Cannibal Corpse, Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Taraf de Haidouks et Aphex Twin, des traces de ces artistes peuvent être trouvées dans la discographie d’Igorrr, mais Serre n’a jamais été intéressé par le fait de rester statique ou de simplement recycler des idées, et son travail a évolué de façon spectaculaire en conséquence. C’est ce qui explique que la musique d’Igorrr soit une telle explosion de créativité tout en conservant un univers cohérent, disque après disque.
Ces dernières années, Igorrr est également devenu un collectif, plutôt que le travail d’un seul homme, ce qui a apporté un nouveau niveau d’intensité dans les représentations live du groupe.

Initially influenced by the likes of Meshuggah, Chopin, Cannibal Corpse, Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Taraf de Haidouks and Aphex Twin, traces of these artists can be found littered across Igorrr’s discography, but Serre has never been interested in remaining static or merely recycling ideas, and his work has dramatically evolved accordingly. It deeply explains how Igorrr’s music is such an explosion of creativity while keeping a cohesive universe records after records.
In recent years, Igorrr has also become a collective, rather than the work of one man alone, which has brought a new level of intensity into the group live representations.
