Dans son nouveau projet solo, l’auteure-compositrice-interprète Paige Barlow fusionne folk, psychédélique, pop, yéyé et shoegaze. Originaire d’Atlanta, elle adopte le français dans sa musique après s’être installée à Montréal. Ses chansons mêlent nonchalance, paroles franches et riffs intemporels. Collaborant avec Galaxie, Hippie Hourrah et Solipsisme, elle est aussi connue pour son groupe MIELS. Son premier EP solo, sous l’étiquette Duprince, sortira au printemps 2024. Radio-Canada l’a qualifiée d’« héritière d’Iggy Pop ».

Her songs blend nonchalance, straightforward lyrics and timeless riffs. Collaborating with Galaxie, Hippie Hourrah and Solipsisme, she is also known for her band MIELS. Her first solo EP, on the Duprince label, will be released in spring 2024. Radio-Canada has called her “the heiress of Iggy Pop”.
