Kanen est une auteure-compositrice-interprète originaire de la communauté innue d’Uashat mak Mani-Utenam. En avril 2023, elle sortira son premier album tant attendu avec un nouveau spectacle où elle se présente totalement incarnée dans toute sa complexité, une musicalité plus crue, son énergie punk marquée d’une grande poésie qui fait vivre de fortes émotions.
Kanen is a singer-songwriter from the Innu community of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam. In April 2023, she will release her long-awaited debut album, along with a new show in which she presents herself fully embodied in all her complexity, her rawer musicality, her punk energy marked by great poetry that brings strong emotions to life.
