Sat 09 Aug 2025 • 03:00 pm Flamenco / Western European
Quai de l’Horloge - Montréal 30$
· by Rédaction PAN M 360

16h15: Frissons du Siam – Thai Dance Troup of Ottawa
17h45: Rabie Houti Band – Musique
19h30: Meriem Pahlavi – Danse.
20h30: Hatim Ammor – Musique.
22h15: Oasis d’Opale – Claudya, Silvina Zaira et Gorka. Danse.

Her body is a burning map of Andalusia. Twenty years of embers in the tablaos of Jerez, electric nights in Montpellier, and Montreal stages where flamenco weeps and roars. A devoted teacher and transmitter of tradition, Rosanne Dion draws secrets from Seville to forge her dancers.
With her performers from the École Flamenco Rosanne Dion, it’s a visceral collision of raw strings, palmas that crack like thunder, and heels slicing the floor in lightning-fast zapateados. She is joined by the haunting voice of the charismatic Fernando Gallego. With rare intensity, Fernando sings with the force of a torrent, the finesse of a breath, and that infinite ability to stir the soul. His voice doesn’t merely accompany—it burns, it leads, it pierces.
Flowing Bata de Cola dresses carve the shadows like wounded birds, while the musicians chase every tremble of the wrists. The audience doesn’t simply watch. It is swept away by the duende, that sacred demon that turns sweat into gold, and melancholy into fire.
A single ticket for the entire day of “Samedi en liesse” on the TD stage, including the 6 announced shows:
3 p.m.: Flamenco Adrift – Rosanne Dion and her dancers, with special guest Fernando Gallego
4:15 p.m.: Chills from Siam Thai Dance Troupe of Ottawa
5:45 p.m.: Rabie Houti Band Music
7:30 p.m.: Meriem Pahlavi – Dance
8:30 p.m.: Hatim Ammor – Music
10:15 p.m.: Oasis d’Opale – Claudya, Silvina Zaira and Gorka Dance
