Cellist Alisa Weilerstein is one of the most important musicians of our time, renowned for her artistic mastery, her emotional investment and the depth of her interpretations. An ardent advocate of creative music, in early 2023 she launched Fragments, an immersive artistic project that brings together the thirty-six movements of Bach’s cello suites with twenty-seven original works. Alisa Weilerstein has been married to Venezuelan conductor Rafael Payare since 2013.
